It's just brute force overcome most problems but they are all there. there are better solutions.Īlso they actually didn't better with other two games. It's not like the engine itself didn't get better over time. It's Sony's PS3 engine and Aquria did a lot better with it in their other 2 SAO games, they just tried too much with this This controversy, along with Gamebryo's already bad reputation has kind of made it the laughing stock of the entire game industry. Man, I was having a good day until you reminded me that Gamebryo still exists and that Elder Scrolls VI will probably still use it. Once modders got their hands dirty they quickly discovered it was still Gamebryo, and infact even had references left inside the engine to Fallout 3's VATS system. Of course, within the first week of that game's release that statement was proven 120% false as well. It is so universally loathed that at the time Bethesda's actually had marketing statements put out for Skyrim, claiming that it would run on a completely grounds-up newly engineered engine to replace Gamebryo. ![]() Now if you want an actually crap-tier bad engine, look at Bethesda's Gamebryo engine. SAO-AL's developer Acuria is just a showcase of utter incompetence where it comes to well-written and well-performing software. ![]() Originally posted by Feelgood:Worstengine
